Mmmmmm crab

and beef!
Well I decided to take a few pics of of a meal I cooked.. I cooked some teriyaki beef, softshell crab, and tempura sweet potato, onion, green beens, and asparagus. It turned out to be too much fried food but tasted great :D I missed some pictures since my hands were covered with batter at times...

Started off by defrosting the random beef which wasn't too great of a cut since it had connective tissue right in the middle of it :X


I lazily marinate the meat in the package..


Defrost the crabs :D


Turn on my healthful deep fryer :D


Peel a sweet potato with my new ceramic peeler I'm sure I'll break and cut up everything with a small knife!


Boil the sliced sweet potato to cook it half-way so it's cooked all the way after it's fried


Throw the beef in the broiler since we ran outta propane :(


Getting ready to mix up the tempura batter with ice water I didn't bother with the directions


Checking to see if the crabs are defrosted


Fry up the onion rings and the rest of the veggies!


Take the beef out of the broiler before it gets all overcooked and put it in a pan to put in the oven to stay hot.


Happy happy crabs in the fryer!


Everything into the oven so it stays hot! and plates.. so they're warm


and done! It didn't come out looking too great but it was delicious! we had some dipping sauce for the tempura also :D

Morons in my city.. and an MRI!

At least the people that are in charge of zoning are..They're jerking me around yet again.. They seem to think it's ok to add stipulations to things when they aren't granted that power in the zoning code.. they see nothing wrong with it at all.. When I asked them where in the zoning code I can see what they're talking about they said it wasn't there (WTF!). Then said it was on the paper I signed (it wasn't) then backpedaled and tried to say it violated something else that made no sense at all.. it really only showed the person I was talking to was a bad liar and a complete moron..
As much as I'd love to fight this.. I'm not gonna bother because they can't even follow their own rules so why would putting more time into make it any better? I'll just get more morons making up shit..

Onto the MRI.. I hurt my knee about two months back pretty bad and since it doesn't seem to be getting much better so I got an X-ray yesterday. They couldn't tell much but said it looks like there could be some arthritis (D:). So today I had to go get an MRI.. Had to switch into some scrubs (just the pants.. and I really wanted to keep them) and leave my pants with everything in them in a cabinet. Then onto the machine I went where Mr. Indian MRI tech guy immobilized my leg and put some headphones on me since the machine is loud. The into the machine I went with most of me out of it which is nice since being stuck inside a tube just is never fun.. Then! 20minutes of really loud 90s era arcade sounds.. some sounded like a machine gun.. others electricity.. Then just finished up got dressed and left.. No results yet :\

A strange trip to Target

(I give up on trying to get the text to line up with the pics :\)
Well it was to Target but then we decide to look around the connected mall..
Which turned out to be really interesting and a place that makes ya feel like you're an outsider..

This little Filipino fast food with it's creepy mascot had an interesting menu.. For breakfast eggs, rice, and uh sausage (it looked like a hot dog) or corned beef.

Lunch/Dinner was hamburgers, fried chicken, and.. spaghetti? (wts!). They had uniforms like old McDonald's ones :D.
































Next the market.. Which I thought was awesome :D, I'll be going back.. They had crawfish,crab and little tiny crabs, all sorts of fish, fresh squid, and tons of other stuff.

I've been down since I got back and have been trying to make myself feel better..
Hopefully the Las Vegas trip coming up will help me relax, have fun, and work some things out.. I hope-

You damn dirty civilian

I am back for good this time! completely done and happy to be home :D Honorably discharged... Now to just get life moving on again.........

I made a list of a few random things about me over there so here they are:

I hate to cause problems or stick out but I refuse to conform at times and like to pick the strange, rare, weird thing (like my car).

I hate hate hate talking to people with dark glasses on where I can't see their eyes.

I really feel like I live in the third person most of the time.

My favorite place to be is in the drivers seat of my car on a barren highway with J in the passenger seat.. With us on the way to someplace and some nice music playing..

Sad music makes me happy.. it shows you how good you have it..
